Sometimes I just don't get this country. Why is it that, when I go hunting for information on the death of Mako (an Oscar-nominated actor who's been in probably 100 films and has ended his career as a respected voice actor), I find nothing in the usual news places and nothing in the entertainment news places? I found it only on IMDb. Further, what I did find was garbage about Colin Farrell's ex-gf-turned-stalker, David Hasselhoff claiming he no longer drinks, and Richard Hatch going to jail, all of which, it seems, is soooo important, yet Mako's death isn't even mentioned. Even on IMDb, the Farrell thing got top billing. I'm sure that I don't need to say anything about the public's priorities, but SHEESH.
But anyway... rest in peace, Mako. You were a great actor, and a great VA, and you will be missed.

I didn't know Mako died!! Aw, man. That sucks. And Uncle Iroh is my favorite character in Avatar. Not to mention the Voice of Aku!
Aw, maaaaan.
Rest in Peace, Mako. You are immortalized.
