Woohooo!!! I got the Final Form in Kingdom Hearts 2! Wow, that is a powerful form, and so much fun! zingzingzingzingZING!!! All the baddies that used to give me trouble were as easy to knock down as bowling pins. hee!

I indulged in a bit of nostalgia today and watched the movie Dragonslayer. It was released in 1981, but I was surprised at how well it holds up. The story is a good one, which helps, but given the time, the special effects were amazing - which was explained when I checked the credits and saw "Industrial Light and Magic" and "Phil Tippett". By the way, I believe that Harry Potter's horntail owes much to Vermithrax, who is a very cool, often beautiful dragon. It's a Disney film and was rated PG, I guess because it had no swearing and almost no sex (one kiss), but it was violent, with several deaths and plenty of gore. Not excessive at all, but still, what a screwed up society we have that we think it's OK for a kid to see messy deaths and bloodletting, but not the mildest sex or bad language. But anyway, while this isn't what I'd call a good movie, I like it. It's entertaining, with a good plot, and it has John Hallam in a terrific role, an appealing heroine, and a way-cool dragon.

See, I told you Final Form wasn't a myth - and totally worth the effort! It is utterly invaluable to winning the Hades Paradox cup. Basically, you can't do it without it.

I have a VHS of "Dragonslayer" around here somewhere. It's definitely a cult movie, but one that is actually really good. I think most fantasy fans have seen it at some point because it laid the ground work for so many of the popular stories today.
Oooh awesome! Still playing, huh? I've yet to get through the whole thing, myself. Stuck trying to re-do the Tron lightcycle bit, for one thing. Arrgggh!! I keep hearing about an "Anti-Sora" form... know anything?
