I am grinning ear to ear. I've just finished watching an old favorite of mine, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. It has crossdressing in it (which some of you know I abhor), and it's horribly sexist, and yet, I love it. I can't see it without laughing and being cheerful for hours afterward, humming the songs. One of the best things about it, to me - besides the silly, exuberant comedy - is the little-known Leon Greene. I love to hear that man sing, and Miles Gloriosis' paeon to himself, "My Bride", is a song that truly shows off both his voice and his looks. (And it's hilarious, too.)

I guess this is going to be a rambling entry. :)

I recently re-read Nora Roberts' Midnight Bayou for about the tenth time. Now, I like Nora Roberts, but usually reading her books once or twice is enough. However, this one is special for me. In all the books I've read and movies I've seen, the hero of this book, Declan Fitzgerald, is the nearest to being My Ideal Man. I don't mean in looks or wealth, but in character and personality. He's so what I've always wanted. *sob* I suppose he could only exist in the imagination of a woman.

I hate to say this, since I hate to say anything good about Microsoft, but... I like Internet Explorer 7. It has the tabbed browsing I love in Firefox (originated by Opera, I believe), and it has a thing called "Clear Type" which makes it easier to read. It loads faster than the old version, too. I normally use Firefox for everything except an occasional commercial site that requires IE, but lately, I've been favoring IE7. GAK.
