whatever happens

To my online friends:

I'm not sure that anyone noticed, but I've been offline since early Monday. The reason is that I pulled a muscle in my back. That doesn't sound so bad, does it? What it means, however, is that I haven't been able to sit at the computer for more than a few minutes, literally, without being in agony.

I'm slightly better now that I've been to the doctor and am pumped up with meds, but don't look for me to be much of a presence for a while yet. I'm not sure how long I can last, even now.

But in the immortal words of The Terminator, I'll be back. *g*

I did notice your absence, wondered what was going on with you, and was just about ready to email you to ask if you were okay. Obviously, you're not. :( Ow, that sounds so painful. How did it happen, or do you even know? Many hugs (gentle ones) and much sympathy. I hope you're feeling better soon.

I sent you two hugely long emails this week. (re the last two chapters of Fruits Basket). If you can't sit long enough to read them, don't worry about it, and don't even think about attempting to answer them; they just were long overdue and I wanted to take the time to update you.

Try to relax and get better. Does anything help besides the meds?
LOL! Emailing me to ask if I was OK wouldn't have worked too well, since I couldn't get onto the computer!

It has been *extremely* painful. It happened when I tried to pick up a bag of grain and twisted and lifted at the same time. But I blame the [bad word deleted] rain. Normally that wouldn't have been a problem at all for me, but my back was already strained from dealing with mud for a month.

I'm feeling much better now. Heat helps, as well as the meds.

I saw your emails, but today was the first chance I got to actually read them. And they were great - thanks!

Awww. Well, I wouldn't have known any other way to get in touch with you, so that would have been my only avenue. :)

I'm glad that you're feeling better now. Heat helps me a lot, too, when I'm in pain.
I already commented in your post at AL, but another well-wishing can't hurt, eh? Hope you'll feel better soon, don't strain yourself too much.
I'd say do something good for yourself, but that would probably involve putting unnecessary strain on your back. Take it easy, and read a good book, maybe?
Eep!! So you're feeling "brokeded" too, huh? **points to icon** The beat-up kangaroo feels your pain. And so does the Steph! I hope you're feeling better soon, all healed up good and back to normal! You have been missed - I was starting to wonder!! *gentle hugs!*
So sorry to hear that Kat. Do take care and I wish you a speedy recovery.

Aww. *hugs* Take care and I hope you feel better soon! :)
Oh no! I hope you feel better soon, dear friend.
