whatever happens

The two incredibly long memes that are floating about.

Although I haven't looked closely enough, I bet I'm the only person who's read "Three Men in a Boat." I do have a problem with some of the books included, some of which are far from being classics and some of which have been added by apparently avid fans. Also, the Harry Potters, Discworld, Narnia, and Robert Jordans should all have been put together.

And why are there no marks for "Never heard of it" and "Started it, couldn't get through it"? (That last one would almost equal my "read" ones.)

- Italicize a show if you're positive you've seen every episode or almost every episode.
- Asterisk if you have at least one full season on tape or DVD

Oh, I'll *never* make it through the book one, but you know I won't be able to resist doing the TV show one. It helps that I've seen most of those at one time or another, but I've only read a fraction of the books.

You finished the second season of Who! Do e-mail me!!

I have one of these I want to start when I get a chance involving long running Musicals.
I don't think this was meant to be a list of classic books, but rather books that were someone's particular favorite(s). That's why the list kept on growing and growing and continues to grow as people add to it.

I imagine we may be embarrassed because of watching some of the same TV shows. I was surprised at some of the ones you'd watched, but not at some of the others: we were both children of the 50's and 60's after all. Of course, you seemed to have missed Carebears and Salute Your Shorts. See what you missed by not having kids? ;)
