Good news and not so good news.

Randi heard from Larry's daughter, Pam. Pam has fallen in love with Tango. And she says Tango's very happy, running and romping with her new friends. Peanut, on the other hand, is still in a round pen, getting socialized, but otherwise doing well.

On the down side, Rose is furious with us. She won't even look at us, just turns her butt to us.

On the up side again, and on a different topic, I had my last ortho appointment today. The break has healed, and the boot is no more!! God, I'm glad to get rid of that. I have a sheet of exercises to do - physical therapy - for 3 to 4 weeks, and then I'll be all fixed. But I'm so happy to get rid of that boot, I could dance. Except I can't. Never could, actually. *g*

Wow, that was a shock to read. That you adopted out Peanut and Tango, I mean. I thought Rose was pretty bonded to Tango, wasn't she? I hope she'll be okay. She's eating and everything, right?

So does that mean you're down to only two horses now, Rose and the Black? yow! Hard to imagine!

I'm glad to hear that Tango and Peanut are happy, and I hope Rose comes around soon. She's pals with the Black, right?

YAAAAAAY for your foot! That was a long haul, even if I didn't have to do it myself! :)
Yup, Rose was bonded to Tango. But she's eating just fine. She'll get over it. Kee keeps calling for Peanut, who was her "baby". I expect it all to settle down after a week or so. Rose and the Black get along well, and so do Kee and Magic. They'll bond more closely, and it'll be OK.

We still have four horses - The Black, Rose, Magic, and Kee.
