Puppy problems again. Poor babies. Kita, the older dog, has been bullying them for some time now, but recently it's escalated. Both pups are terrified of her, and she's taken to seizing their paws in her mouth in a way that actually hurts them. She's gone beyond disciplining them and into stalking them. So we have to separate them, which is hugely ironic, since we got them to keep her company. Right now, we'll put Kita in the back yard, which is big enough for her, but since we don't have a dog house back there yet, when it rains, she's a house dog. Which is all the time, but y'all don't want to hear about that any more.

I made two weeks at the gym. Go me! The pain from the bursitis (or whatever) in my shoulder has been reduced about 80%. I'm also trying a salad, believe it or not, that Jennifer suggested - fresh spinach, walnuts, and strawberries with balsamic vinegar sprinkled over it. Yeah, sounds yuck, right? But it's good, and it's health. I've added fruit to my breakfast, too. I'm being good. We'll see how long that lasts. LOL

I know nothing, NOTHING, about dogs, but I had this odd feeling that this was going to escalate when you said Kita was "disciplining" the puppies. I have no idea why. I'm sorry this isn't working out the way you planned.

Also, I'm sorry about the rain. It sounds like you're having a dreadful time of it with the weather down there. We are in need of rain here - the farmers planting their crops (and we have such a short growing season) are dealing with dust in the fields instead of good soil. At least, it's not as bad as California, but the rain you're having sounds just as bad if not worse.

Go you, Gym Girl! :) The salad sounds delicious to me, but perhaps I have odd tastes. ;) I love spinach, and anything with walnuts and strawberries and balsamic is more than okay in my book.

P. S. I'm glad you're posting more here. I miss hearing from you.
