Wow. I'm writing again.

A few days ago I posted that I was working on (the as-yet-untitled) Regency story about Harriet "Harry" Wynter. Well, I kept at it and spent most of my free time on Saturday and today doing some actual writing. Woohoo!

I had to "deconstruct" the beginning of what I had already written, as I said before. I won't go into details, but I wrote 4 scenes, two of them completely new and two of them adapted, edited, and much expanded from what was already there. A story I began by doing multiple flashbacks is now in real time, and I think it's working well. My only real concern is that I'm spending too much time with Sebastian - after all, Lord Ashurst, my hero, hasn't even appeared yet! - but I think that will work itself out.

Anyway, here are the stats: 4 scenes (2 new, 2 edited), 15 pages, and 7657 words. Not bad for two days, huh?

So happy for you. I know you have certain people who do certain beta-reading tasks for you, but if you ever need my help/input, don't hesitate. ♥

Me: Did I mention how tickled I am that you are writing again?

Kat: Only a thousand times, Gale. :P

Me: Senility sets in, ya know. ;)
I *always* need your input. I'll be able to finish this book in a week or so (recall that it was already completed and I'm just rewriting), so if it's OK with you, I'll send it to you when the entire draft is done.

Randi is the only one beta reading for me at the moment, although Pam might volunteer. Each of you is so different, however, that I value all of you.

And, hey, if you're senile, how are you going to read my story?? LOL
